Branksomewood Medical Centre
We are pleased to inform patients that the Covid-19 vaccination process for patients registered with Branksomewood Medical Centre will begin this week (Wednesday 13 January). Patients 80 years of age and above, as well as frontline health and social care staff will be the first cohorts to be offered the vaccine. You will be contacted when you become eligible.
Patients from Branksomewood will be using the site based on the ground floor of Princes Hall in Aldershot. There are dedicated parking facilities close by and the site has been set up as a Covid-secure medical facility and is following strict infection control procedures.
The vaccination programme is rolling out across the local area covered by NHS North East Hampshire and Farnham Clinical Commissioning Group. The establishment of sites has had to be phased, to ensure we comply with NHS England requirements, train our workforce and get access to vaccine supply.
Please be assured that plans are being put in place to meet the Government target of vaccinating each of the tiered cohorts for all populations across North East Hampshire and Farnham.
We know local people are extremely keen to get access to the vaccinations but is important that people follow the following guidance:
- Please do not contact the NHS to seek a vaccine, we will contact you when you are eligible.
- When we do contact you, please attend your booked appointments at the time allocated; no earlier or no later
Thank you for your assistance
